Training for special population’s (over 50’s and those with medical conditions)

The Personal Training sessions don’t have to be just for those who are fit and healthy. Many medical conditions require regular exercise as a form of prescription to reduce the effects of specific conditions (i.e. high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, obesity and coronary heart disease).

Exercise also benefits other conditions like asthma, arthritis & osteoporosis, as exercise increases the bodies work capabilities, building muscular strength and endurance, therefore reducing the dependence on medication.

The sessions can also be designed for the older adult. For those who remain physically active the effects linked to ageing can be slowed.

A full health and fitness appraisal is completed before any programme design can take place, and clients are constantly monitored throughout the programme to keep track of their progress.
